Who we are

At illumin, we are transforming the advertising landscape. Our platform offers an integrated space for journey planning, execution, and reporting. It empowers marketers to connect with their audiences in powerful ways through real-time data and easy-to-use visual tools. By seamlessly combining media planning and buying in an intuitive interface, marketers can take complete control of their campaigns, meeting customers wherever they are in the buying journey and maximizing the impact of their ad spend through personalized insights for smarter decision-making.

We are at a pivotal moment, evolving into a product-led company with a team of over 100 skilled professionals and new leadership guiding our path forward. By harnessing the power of data, advancing our AI capabilities, and deeply investing in our people, we are preparing for a future that will redefine what’s possible in journey advertising.

Our work is guided by two beliefs: that the ability to execute is paramount to success and that we are only as good as our people. As we grow and transform, we are looking for team members (illumineers) who share our bias for speed, delivery over perfection, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Joining us now is a chance to be part of our transformation.

Who we need

Reporting to the Manager, AdOps and Analytics, we are hiring a Senior Marketing Insights and Reporting Analyst to transform campaign performance data into meaningful insights that drive better marketing decisions. As our new Senior Marketing Insights and Reporting Analyst, you will analyze campaign performance across multiple digital advertising channels, identify trends and optimization opportunities, and build reporting solutions that enable teams across Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, and Leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will play a critical role in strengthening our reporting capabilities by improving dashboarding, validating data accuracy, and uncovering the insights that maximize campaign performance and business outcomes.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our downtown Toronto office, with three days per week onsite.

What's in it for you

Turn data into decisions. This is more than building reports. You will uncover the story behind campaign performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and recommendations that directly influence how campaigns are optimized and how marketing dollars are invested. Your insights will help shape decisions across the business.

Own and evolve our reporting capabilities. You will become a key contributor to the evolution of our analytics function, building and enhancing dashboards in Tableau and Looker, improving reporting automation, and helping create scalable reporting practices that support a growing organization. Your work will increase visibility into performance while making reporting faster, more accurate, and more impactful.

Grow your career. Whether you are looking to deepen your expertise in marketing analytics or broaden your exposure to the advertising technology industry, this role offers an opportunity to work with experienced leaders, sophisticated digital marketing data, and cross-functional teams. At illumin, there is a strong track record of internal growth, with team members expanding into Campaign Management, Account Management, and leadership opportunities as they develop their expertise.

How you will make an impact:

  • Turn data into actionable insights. You will analyze campaign performance across key digital marketing metrics, uncover trends, identify optimization opportunities, and investigate anomalies. Rather than simply reporting on results, you will translate complex data into clear, practical recommendations that help improve campaign performance and inform business decisions.
  • Build reporting that drives decisions. You will develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau, Looker, and other visualization tools, ensuring stakeholders have timely, accurate, and meaningful performance insights. You will continually look for opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and scalable reporting practices.
  • Champion data quality and performance measurement. You will validate reporting across internal and third-party platforms, ensuring the integrity and consistency of campaign data. You will investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and help strengthen confidence in the data used across the business.
  • Partner across the business. You will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, and Marketing teams to understand business needs, answer performance questions, and provide analytical support that drives stronger campaign outcomes. You will communicate findings in a way that enables stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

What you bring:

  • The analytical mindset. You have experience working with large and complex datasets, identifying patterns, uncovering insights, and translating findings into practical recommendations. You are naturally curious, enjoy investigating the "why" behind performance, and use data to support confident decision-making.
  • The reporting expertise. You have experience building and maintaining dashboards using Tableau and Looker (or Looker Studio), creating reports that are accurate, easy to interpret, and tailored to different audiences. You are comfortable working with reporting tools and continually look for ways to improve efficiency through automation and better reporting practices.
  • The technical foundation. You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working across multiple reporting platforms and marketing technologies. Experience with programmatic advertising, digital marketing metrics, SQL, Google Analytics, or other media measurement tools is an asset, but your ability to learn new platforms and apply analytical thinking is what matters most.
  • The attention to detail. You understand that meaningful insights depend on reliable data. You take pride in validating information, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the reports and recommendations you deliver are accurate and trustworthy.
  • The communication and collaboration skills. You can explain complex data in a way that is clear and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences. You enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams, asking thoughtful questions, and helping others make informed decisions through data.
